At Oak & Willow Counselling, my aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and professional space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges.

Confidentiality

All information discussed in sessions will be treated confidentially, unless there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or if I am required by law to disclose information. I may also consult with my supervisor; however, no personal information will be shared.
All information that I hold about you will be kept securely and handled in line with GDPR regulations.

Sessions

  • Face-to-face sessions in the summerhouse are strictly 60 minutes.
  • Online sessions are strictly 50 minutes.
  • Walk & Talk therapy is available on request.
  • Please arrive promptly. If you are late, your session may be shortened or may need to be cancelled.
  • Sessions will not take place if you arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you show aggressive behaviour.
  • Online sessions rely on your device and internet connection. If issues with connectivity occur, sessions cannot be refunded.

Fees and Payment

  • As stated in Fees section.
  • Concessions are available for low-income clients and veterinary professionals (proof of eligibility required).
  • Discounts are available for block bookings, offering a more affordable way to commit to your therapeutic journey.
  • Payment is required at the time of your session or in advance for block bookings.

Cancellation Policy

  • Please contact me on 07947 275673 to cancel or change your session.
  • I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session, or missed sessions, will be charged in full and are non-refundable.

Boundaries and Confidentiality Outside Sessions

To maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, I will not approach you if I see you outside of your sessions, unless you contact me first.

Ending Therapy

  • You or I may choose to end therapy at any time.
  • It’s recommended to discuss ending sessions in a final meeting to ensure closure and support.
